Questions
- How are byes decided?
- When the number of entrants isn't 2, 4 or 8, the top seeds get byes into the second round — 5 entrants means 3 byes, 6 means 2. List your best entrants first, or choose random seeding.
- Can I print a blank bracket template?
- Yes: leave the names as placeholders like Seed 1 through Seed 8 and print. Each slot prints with room to write in names and scores.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Make and print one bracket at a time with no account and nothing to pay. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.
- What if I need more than 8, or live scores?
- Run it on BracketBoard with a free account: brackets up to 64, a public link that updates live as you enter scores, and an On-Deck board for the venue. Standard-size events are free.
