Questions
- How does double elimination work?
- The championship bracket runs like single elimination. Each first loss sends that entrant to the consolation bracket, where a second loss eliminates them. The consolation side decides the places behind the champion.
- Why are consolation slots blank?
- They fill with whoever loses in the championship bracket, so they print as TBD for you to write in as the day goes.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Make and print one bracket at a time with no account and nothing to pay. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.
- What if I need more than 8, or live scores?
- Run it on BracketBoard with a free account: brackets up to 64, a public link that updates live as you enter scores, and an On-Deck board for the venue. Standard-size events are free.
